Why Pwgen

Everything you need, running where you choose.

Get the full Pwgen experience with Easypanel handling the repetitive infrastructure work around it.

Password Generation
Configurable length (slider), uppercase letters, digits, special characters, and optional homoglyph exclusion (removes look-alike characters such as 0/O and 1/l).
Passphrase Generation
Word-count control, capitalisation toggle, separator choice (space, dash, number, special character, or user-defined), and optional inclusion of numbers or special characters between words.
Multiple Generation
Generate up to 5 passwords or passphrases simultaneously with the MULTI_GEN option so you can pick the one you prefer.
Browser Settings Persistence
Saves all generation preferences in a browser cookie so your settings are remembered between visits.
Progressive Web App
Installable as a PWA for an app-like experience on mobile and desktop without needing a native install.
No Account, No Cloud
Pwgen runs entirely in a single container with no external database or account required. Generated passwords never leave your server unless you choose to check them against haveibeenpwned.
