Pwgen is a simple, self-hosted web application for generating secure passwords and passphrases with customisable options. Users can generate random passwords with configurable length and character sets (uppercase, digits, special characters, homoglyph exclusion) or word-based passphrases with choices of separator, capitalisation, and word count. All generated passwords are optionally cross-checked against the haveibeenpwned database to confirm they have not appeared in known data breaches. The app is a single container with no database and supports a PWA install for offline use.
